How to Add a Custom Signature in Your Blogger Posts

Before explaining how to insert a customized blogger signature at the end of each of your blog posts, keep in mind that this tutorial is only intended for users of Blogger. If you want to do this with Wordpress or something similar, you have to find a tutorial created by someone familiar with those platforms, as no use. Therefore, assuming that you are a blogger Blogger, let's first talk about why you might want a customized signature. The main reason that comes to mind is that they look great. The second reason would be to set your blog apart from other blogs, because there are not many people who use custom signatures. And the third reason would be because they are really easy to make and install!

There are two methods that are easy to use me, but before we get one, let me say first you have to have your signature already prepared, as this tutorial will not explain how to make one. All you need is a graphic image of appropriate size (something around 160 x 70 pixels is as big as I would personally go), whether a jpeg file or something similar, and host it on a free site like photobucket. Com Once you have loaded, ready for the next steps.

The easy way to

STEP 1.

Go to your desktop of Blogger * gt; go to the Blog settings > go to format * gt; Scroll down to the box template post.

STEP 2.

Insert this code in the box: <p>&lt; image class = ' centered ' alt = ' post signs ' src = ' sig URL' / * gt;</p>

STEP 3.

Copy the url of the image and paste it into the code where you see the words 'sig URL'.  For example, when completed should looks something like this - with the part in bold is the real address of your own jpeg.
<br><p>< image class = ' centered ' alt = ' post signs ' src ='http://www. yourphotohost. com / yourgraphic. jpg' / * gt;</p>

Things to Note:

If uses this method, the image will be shown in its panel of control of blogger when create your posts. You'll see it there before entering the text.  While this is a method very easy, not is that I use for two reasons:

1.  If accidentally removes the image to the write your post, have that close and start a new post to get the image in there.

2.  The image only appears in messages you create from that moment, that they are not in your previous posts.

The way Prefer

Before I try this, take account that needs to go to the HTML template of your blog and set the code. If you don't know what it is, do not attempt this.  Seriously, if you don't know what is HTML, if you don't know how to change things in your template already, do not play with this because you can shit it your blog all very easily if you make a small mistake.  Right, for the rest of you, this is really quite easy go as far as change the code:

STEP 1: access to YOUR TEMPLATE
 (not explained as arrive, as those of you familiar with it already will know how do it).

STEP 2.  FIND THIS CODE:

<div class='post-body entry-content'> < data: post. body / &gt; <div style='clear: both;'/> <!-clear for floats photos--></div> <div class='post-footer'>

STEP 3: INSERT THE CODE of the IMAGE (SEE BOLD) AS FOLLOWS:

<div class='post-body entry-content'> < data: post. body / &gt; <div style='clear: both;'/> <!-clear for floats photos--></div> <br>< img src ='http://photobucket. com / signature. jpg'/ &gt;</br> <div class='post-footer'>

STEP 4: Preview and SAVE IF you're HAPPY WITH it.

Things for added Note:

I the <br>code because in the blog that was creating, needed.  You may want to remove or add additional space as you see fit.  This method does not have the signature that appears on the control panel, simply will be displayed when post.  It will also be displayed in the previous posts.
