If you are unhappy from your old wordpress theme than you can apply or install any other theme. There are many websites which provide free wp themes. When you download any free template or purchase than you need to download this file into Zip form. you can do this from any unzip software such as winrar or winzip.
- Download your new theme and save into your hard drive.
- After this you need to login into your wordpress account from the link my domain.com/admin. after login you will see admin dashboard like this picture.
- In the admin dashboard found Appearance > Themes which you will see dashboard left sidebar.
- When you open the theme page you will 2 option manage and install you need to click install tab and than choose the new "upload option"
- When you click the upload option now you will see the "choose file" option click this on the this option and then you need to choose or pick your theme Zip file from your hard drive and than click on the "Install Now" tab. Now wait for some time to complete the installation process.
- After uploading your new wordpress theme file, you will see the message that installation was successful. Now in the last time you will need to "Activate" your this theme. when you click on the "Activate" option, the wordpress pick your new theme and switch to the new wordpress theme.
Now you can easily change your theme options which will be appear on the your WP dashboard.
